Fabulous place. Friendly helpful staff, calm relaxing atmosphere where you can take time without having to rush. The tuna mayo salad sandwich is the best I have ever had and it is just great place to eat, drink coffee, and be. A little haven in the middle of the city. Thank you.

My friend & I meet usually every 2wks for coffee and catch up so look for somewhere different. I'd seen this when looking & it had good reviews so off we went. Easy to find, opp the fountain in Town Hall Sq, Chapel Café. It's lovely inside with the old organ pipes and very decorative. I ordered Cappuccino and cheese on toast, my friend ordered Americano and toasted BLT. Bear in mind it wasn't busy, we waited a while for the drinks which were brought separately then even longer for the food. By this time our coffee's were nearly finished. Once again my toast came first then after a good while another coffee & tea we're brought to us, which was not our order then finally my friends sandwich appeared. Luckily the food was nice & hot so we didn't complain. Such a shame as our 1st visit should've been better. It was only £4.20 for mine so the prices are very good, but they need to get the orders right and a bit quicker on the service (I don't mean the Sunday one as it is a chapel)

We discovered this cafe on our recent visit to Port Isaac, and were so happy we did. It is in a beautiful building, full of natural light, and exceptionally welcoming to dogs. They even have dog beds for your little pooch to rest on. Delicious Cornish cream tea - a massive helping of home made scones, clotted cream, and jam with a big pot of tea which was excellent value. This is a new family run business and their attention to detail and service is exemplary. If we ever get back this way, we will definitely stop in again.
